Using a vintage printing press and individual pieces of hand-set metal type, create some luxurious stationery notecards perfect to give away as a gift or to keep for yourself. This relief printing process is the same technology that Johannes Gutenberg used in the 15th century to create the first printed Bible, but it widely used today for upscale social stationery, such as business cards, greeting cards, and invitations.
Please bring $20 to class for 40-page Letterpress Basics Handout and Stationery Materials (cardstock, envelopes and ink).
